Karingon: We arrived at the island of Karingon, our ultimate destination, which was the outermost island of the trip. Karingon is a little island off of Orust with a population of about 100 permanent residents. It has been an important fishing village since the 1600s. Over time, the main activity on the island changed from fishing to tourism. We departed the boat, and had a few hours of fun walking around the island. I absolutely adore these wooden fishing boats. I saw quite a few of them in this harbor, and zipping around on the fjords.
