August 5, 2008...(Day 13)...Yngsjo, Sweden

Krister and Victoria's Home: We spent 2 nights with Amanda's Uncle Krister and Aunt Victoria. They were wonderful hosts. Their home architecture is very typical of homes in the Skane region.
Amanda on beach in Yngsjo, just after sunrise: You know someone is your friend when you enjoy photographing them. Amanda was willing to pose for me, and I enjoyed shooting her! She was also willing to get up early, and trot on over to the beach, before beginning our day of sightseeing. Had we had more time, I would have loved to spend a few more days here exploring the coastline.
Laurie collecting sand: I got a lovely sand sample from this beach in Yngsjo.

Fishing Nets and Drying Poles: This is a public park where fishermen can work the waters and store their nets.
Fishing Net Drying Poles: Fishermen hang their nets out on these poles to dry. Note the hooks near the top of each pole.
