Karingon House: While Amanda's family had some fika and went for a swim, I took off and hiked part of the island. I came upon this charming house, with a fenced-in yard, so typical of island homes.

It is at this point that I must apologize to UllaBritt for causing her undo worry. I had promised that I would be back at the boat at a certain time, and I got so involved in sightseeing, that I was late. As it was, I had to run back to the harbor to catch the boat just before it sailed. I really would have been in trouble if I had to wait for another ferry the next day. But, I made it back to the boat just in the nick of time.
