Rose Painting: The upstairs living room of this house was incredible. I've never seen anything like this before. The artist was Olav Hansson (born 1750ish, died 1830ish). Most of the known works of Olav Hansson were from the late 1700s to around 1800. He was a master of contemporary style of painting, but was best at "flower-painting". During his most productive years his inspirational styles (baroque, regence and rococco) were obsolete in the outside world, but were of high fashion in East-Telemark, Norway.
